From 1995 - 2011 I owned a company called Virtual Publishing. In those 15 years I have done the following:
Internet / Webdesign:
- designed websites using Photoshop
- designed banners (static, animated gif, Flash)
- developed websites in HTML, CSS, Flash, PHP, ASP, JavaScript
- wrote content for websites in English and Dutch
- translated content for websites (English to Dutch, Dutch to English)
- edited / created web content in Smartsite 5, Smartsite Ixperion and Joomla
- designed, wrote and sent online mailings / newsletters (using my own system or using PHP list)
- maintained mailing list members subscriptions
- setup MYSQL databases
- setup Access databases
- analysed site statistics (webalizer, google analytics, analog, netstat)
- designed customized templates for PHP Bulletin Board
- created administration websites / Content Management Systems
- promoted websites in search engines, adjusted websites for the best position
- created / maintained artist profiles
- registered domain names using Auto DNS
- created hosting accounts using WHM
- edited / created audio files
- edited / created video files
DTP:
- designed logos using Illustrator and Photoshop
- designed flyers
- designed wall papers and screen savers for Windows
- created enhanced cd's using Flash
- designed mousepads
- designed brochures
- designed letterheads, written forms and labels in PageMaker and InDesign
- "photoshopped" photos
Other:
- wrote biographies for artists
- wrote about Internet and Entertainment for online magazines
- wrote press releases and provided press with follow up information
- interviewed many people
